In the fall of 2023, Pastor Kelly introduced the values of "Tov," (tōv) which is the ancient Hebrew word for "good," into our community. These are the values that we pursue and believe will help align us to the heart of God as well as conformity to the image of Jesus. We know that the culture we choose to cultivate matters and that we should be intentional with what we choose to value as well as cognizant of what we should resist. We call these values "tov" and we feel they best cultivate the community we desire to be and one that will bear fruit of Christlikeness among us.
We know that church can be a difficult place for people because of current or past experiences. Our experiences often leave us hurting or frustrated with even the idea of church. We are a people who recognize this and desire to do things differently, to be a "good" church. We want to be a place where anyone can come into our community and experience God. A place where we can all grow in our spiritual and emotional maturity in safety with the Lord as he redefines church for us, that is a place to experience his goodness. Below you will find our "tov" values as well as the "Good Church" sermon series by Pastor Kelly where he goes through each statement week by week.
We're glad you're here and hope and pray you get to experience God's goodness with us.
